LASTRO places the highest value on occupational safety. The health of every person is our absolute priority. Due to our work, we bear an enormously high responsibility for people and the environment. We are very aware of this and therefore constantly set new standards in terms of quality and safety.
We take every opportunity to implement occupational safety as an integral part of our daily business. We demand this from all our employees as well as from all our equipment.
In addition to our practised safety awareness, our company as a whole with all its processes is independently audited and certified on an ongoing basis by external accredited professional associations.

In order to be able to carry out our work according to the highest safety standards, we not only provide state-of-the-art protective equipment and tools for our skilled workers, but also attach great importance to ongoing training as part of our training and development programmes. Every operative employee - in addition to regular examinations of his or her physical fitness for his or her field of work - is continuously and regularly trained and tested. After all, occupational safety is the integral part of our corporate culture.
Every single project worker in the operational business on site has certificates for operating industrial trucks, bridge and gantry cranes, IPAF, independently issued specialist training for slinging loads, for load securing, as a first aider, as a height rescuer and SCC 16 /17. In addition, there are special skills such as working under compressed air, a valid radiation pass, operating SPMT & Sefiro and Strand Jacks. In addition, we ensure structured, daily work through close and regular toolbox meetings.
