Dismantling TBM in downtown Düsseldorf

The dismantling of the individual tunnel boring segments was carried out at night, while during the day the city traffic in Düsseldorf could continue to run unhindered. A tower system with strand jacking and shifting technology was used for the safe and speedy removal of the machine. The tower system was equipped with girders with spans of over 40m.
